Additional comments At the end of this book there are seven pages with 20 double and 16 single chants. The book itself is not dated but in Lumley's Bibliographical Advertiser (London, Wednesday, July 19, 1843) the original version is entry no. 8675 (page 132) with a print date of 1839. The new edition is dated by the British Library at 1843. As far as the chants are concerned there is no difference between the two versions.
