Nicholls, Mitchell A. (1995- )


Additional comments: Mitchell Nicholls LGMS, is a Barbadian reading for a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Geography at the University of the West Indies - Mona, Kingston, Jamaica and is a Member of the Burgon Society and pursing his Fellowship (FBS) in the study of Academical Dress. Apart from academic pursuits he is also particularly interested in choral music specifically of the Anglican tradition and has studies music under Marion Forde (B'dos). He has sung in various choirs and played Recorder in " Flauto Dolce" under the leadership of Lecturer and Professional Musician/Educator Rosina Moder (Austria/Jamaica). Thus far he has composed several hymn descants, Anglican chants as well as songs. He is a Licentiate of the Guild of Musicians and Singers and a Member of the American Guild of Organists (Barbados Chapter) and aspires to become an established composer of "sacrae cantiones" and of liturgical music.
