Additional information: According to Rimbault Tomlinson was a Vicar Choral in the Cathedral of York, about the year 1724. Hutchins (book 45) attributes to R. Tomlinson without further explanation. Waite (book 142), attributes to 'Tomlinson' with a publication date of 1724
